Unsettled with wind and rain in central Europe, fair to the south


Wednesday
Heavy showers across northern Spain and Portugal today. Dry for more southern areas with sunny spells. A scattering of showers in Majorca and menorca as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Italy should be fine with lots of sunshine in central and southern areas although heavy rain affects the north. Greece and Turkey will be dry with sunny spells.
Low pressure brings showers and rain into France and the Low Countries. Further thundery showers affecting much of Germany and Hungary with the potential for some torrential downpours in Switzerland and Austria.
Rain and strong winds affecting Denmark and southern Sweden, although much of the Baltic States should be dry. Fair for Norway and Sweden. A few showers affecting Finland.


Thursday
Thundery showers, some of them heavy across northern Spain today. Dry and fair in central and southern Spain and Portugal. Fair to in the Balearics and staying fine and sunny across most of Italy. Greece is going to be dry too with more sunshine and it should be staying fine and warm across Turkey too.
An unsettled, wet and windy day through France. Heavy showers affect the Low Countries whilst rain troubles Germany throughout the day. Poland will be windy with heavy showers, most in the north. Scattered showers for Hungary but heavier showers across Switzerland and Austria.
Low pressure brings showers in Denmark, some of them heavy. Wind and rain for the Baltic States, gales in places. Fair for Finland, although increasing cloud and some rain coming into the south. Cloud and patchy rain in southern Sweden but fair to the north. Scattered showers across the fair south of Norway but dry with sunshine in central and northern areas.
