Hot across Iberia, showers E Europe

Today
Hot across Iberia today with temperatures approaching 40 Celsius across inland parts of Spain. Much of Europe will be very warm with the coolest temperatures across Britain and Scandinavia. Sunny and dry today across Portugal, Spain, the Balearics, most of France and Italy. A dry day to come across England with there is a risk of showers across Belgium, The Netherlands and Denmark. Showers are also expected across Norway and Finland with more persistent rain to affect Sweden. Lots of warm sunshine will be on offer across Germany, Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Adriatic Region and Hungary. Frequent showers with thunderstorms are likely from Russia into the Baltic States, Belarus, the Ukraine into Romania, Bulgaria into parts of Greece. Fine and sunny across the Greek Isles and mostly of Turkey.



Monday
Temperatures remain high across Spain with highs to 40 Celsius while northern Europe becomes a bit cooler. Expect a few showers across England, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark and along the northern coasts of Germany. A fine, summery and warm day is expected across most of Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the Adriatic Region. Thunderstorms will develop across the Alpine Region today and The Czech Republic. Warm and mostly sunny across Romania, Greece and Turkey with a few isolated, heavy showers. More in the way of heavy showers to come across Poland. Heavy rain is expected across Norway, Sweden into Finland and northern Russia while rain clears to showers for the Baltic States. A fine, summery day to come through the Mediterranean.
