An area of low pressure brings wet & windy conditions to much of northwest Europe
A fair day for Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Staying fair across the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Italy could have some morning mist and fog patches, these clearing to dry and sunny weather. Early rain here clears to the south too. Showery outbreaks of rain spread east across Greece and Turkey though there will be further spells of sunshine.
Cloud and some drizzle in western France, fair to the south. Rain and wind in northern France, this rain affecting the Low Countries too. Fair for Germany at first but rain in the west later. Poland is likely to be drier with some bright or sunny spells, some showers in the north. Hungary and Austria should be dry with some sunshine, but rain and cloud affecting Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark with more sunshine. Some snow showers in the Baltic States. Cold with bright spells in Finland. Cold in Sweden and dry here too. Heavy snow showers in western and northern Norway.
Cloud and showery outbreaks of rain spread from the northwest across Spain and Portugal. Rain may be heavy to the far northwest. Clod builds through the day across the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy but it stays dry and fair here. A dry and bright day for Greece while outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow spread eastward across Turkey.
A band of heavy rain sweeps across France, the Low Countries, Switzerland and Germany on Saturday while cooler conditions, strong winds and showers follow from the west. Staying mostly dry, with just isolated showers and building cloud for Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Wet and windy for Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Brighter and drier to the north with just isolated snow showers. After a bright start, cloud builds over Finland and the Baltic States with scattered snow showers developing later.
