Heavy snowfall for parts of Turkey

Monday
With high pressure across the western Mediterranean expect mainly fine and pleasantly warm conditions for Spain, Portugal and the Balearics. Some scattered showers for southern Italy but these will gradually ease. Unsettled with heavy rain, sleet and snow for Greece and Turkey though this clears from western Greece later.
Largely dry and fine for France but more cloud and rain for the far north. Patchy rain moves across the Low Countries and into Germany through the afternoon, turning increasingly wintry to the east. Dry for the Switzerland and Austria with some cloud here. Patchy sleet and snow affecting eastern Poland. Still chilly here.
Rain, sleet and snow will push into southern Norway as well as across Denmark on Monday, with snow showers continuing to affect the far north of Norway. Dry across much of Sweden and the Baltic States as they sit under high pressure. Finland will see scattered snow showers affect northern and eastern regions.

Tuesday
Patchy rain spreads into the northwest of Spain and northern Portugal. Mostly cloudy skies across the rest of Spain with the best of the sun to the east. Dry and fine for the Balearic Islands and for much of Italy too. Some cloud and patchy showers to the northwest. A dry and bright day for the Balkan States and western Greece while patchy rain, sleet and snow lingers over eastern Greece and much of Turkey. This locally heavy.
A band of locally heavy but patchy rain moves from west to east over northern France and later into Benelux. Staying dry and fair for southern France. Early rain, sleet and snow fades from Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany to leave a dry and fair day here. Rain arrives over western Germany again during the evening. Dry and mostly bright for Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
Rather cloudy for Denmark as well as southern portions of Norway and Sweden with an area of rain and sleet arriving from the west here later. Dry and fine for northern parts of Norway and Sweden and for much of Finland too. Cloudier over southern Finland and for the Baltic States with a scattering of snow showers here.
