Thunderstorms for central and some western parts of Europe. Mainly fine in the Mediterranean

Thursday
Still a risk of some heavy shower with thunder on Thursday in the north of Spain and Portugal but much of Iberia and the Balearics will stay dry, sunny and very warm. The fine, very warm or hot and sunny weather will embrace Corsica and Sardinia too. A good deal of sunshine for Italy, although cloud may build to give showers, these perhaps most likely in the north. Greece and the Islands are expected to be mostly dry with spells of very warm sunshine and just the slight risk of a shower on the mainland. Turkey Will have some sunshine but with showers developing, some of these heavy and possibly thundery in the north.
Dry with spells of very warm sunshine for Eastern France but cloudier skies with an area of heavy showers and thunderstorms will extend east into western areas. Dry with spells of warm sunshine to come in the Low Countries and for much of Germany too, although showers may skirt the eastern fringes here. Heavy rain or showers with thunderstorms for Poland, widespread at first but lessening in extent later. Some sunshine for Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic but also showers with a risk of thunder but Austria may escape with a mostly dry day.
Denmark will have a fine, dry day with spells of sunshine but a band of cloud associated with a weak weather front will give rain over parts of Norway and Sweden. Finland will be dry, warm and sunny but the sunshine over the Baltic States may be interrupted by showers, especially Lithuania where thunderstorms are likely.

Friday
A good part of Spain and Portugal will be dry, warm and sunny but the threat of showers remains for the north. Fine, warm and largely sunny weather over the Balearics will continue to extend east across to Corsica and Sardinia. A lot of warm sunshine for Italy, although with some thundery showers developing in the north, while Greece will be mainly dry and sunny, with just perhaps an isolated shower. although some showers may develop in the north. Little change for Turkey with some warm sunshine but also the likelihood of showers, some thundery, breaking out.
Showers in the west of France at first will become more widespread with some heavy, thundery downpours developing. Belgium and The Netherlands may also see showers and thunderstorms developing but while western parts of Germany may have a few showers, much of the country will be dry with sunny spells. Some warm sunshine in Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland but also the potential for further showers with a risk of thunder.
Denmark will be fine and dry with spells of sunshine. Sunny intervals for Norway, Sweden and Finland but with showers too, then for the Baltic States, Latvia and Estonia are like to be dry with some sunshine but Lithuania will have thundery showers.
