Improving conditions across France and Scandinavia.

Wednesday
A largely dry day for Spain and Portugal although cloud could build over central parts of Spain through the day. It looks to be largely dry through the rest of the Mediterranean with good sunny spells for the Balearic Islands, although cloudier skies and feeling muggy for Greece and Turkey. Risk of some local thunderstorms breaking out here later.
Showers or longer spells of rain continue across central and eastern parts of France. Largely dry elsewhere here. Some showers pushing across the Low Countries into south Germany. Largely dry further north. Unsettled with thundery, heavy showers across Austria and Switzerland into Slovakia. Dry for Croatia. Thunderstorms affecting north and east Poland.
Thunderstorms affect Denmark into parts of the far south of Sweden. Largely dry though for the rest of Sweden and Norway seeing a dry and fine day. A dry and fair day for Finland and the Baltic States.

Thursday
A dry day for Portugal and largely dry for Spain, however, a few local showers look likely to pop up across the border and in the north. Mainly dry through the Balearic islands although the odd local shower cannot be competely ruled out. Largely dry through Italy, the islands, Greece and Turkey although there maybe more cloud about giving the threat of an odd shower.
An improved day again come Thursday for France with drier weather about although possibly still largely cloudy. Heavy showers and or thunderstorms are expected across much of Germany with showers through Switzerland and Austria, although conditions do look to improve through the day in Switzerland. Showers moving in to Slovakia and Croatia later as well as into southern parts of Poland.
A dry day for Norway and largely dry across Sweden, although some showers pushing into far southern regions here. Dry across Finland. Thundery showers pushing northwards through the Baltic States. Some scattered showers developing later across Denmark.
