Thunderstorms from northern Spain to northern Italy


Wednesday
Fine and hot in Spain and Portugal, thundery showers in northern Spain. The Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia will be dry and very warm. A few showers in central and northern Italy. Greece and Turkey will be hot and dry, again with lots of sunshine.
Some thundery showers developing in southern France. Dry with sunny spells in central and northern France. The Low Countries and Germany should be dry with lots of sunshine. A few showers in northern Poland, dry and fair to the south. Fine in Hungary but showers in Austria. The showers heavy and thundery for Switzerland.
Showers in Denmark, a few of them heavy. Fine fo much of Sweden but some further showers in the Baltic States. Finland will be bright and dry. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in western and northern Norway.

Thursday
Fine and hot for most of Spain and Portugal today. There is a risk of some thunderstorms in northwest Spain. Hot and sunny in the central Mediterranean. Western Italy should be dry, sunny and hot although there will be some heavy showers in the east. Greece should be dry with lots of sunshine. Turkey is going to be dry and hot with sunshine too.
Scattered thunderstorms in southern France but fair for most with good spells of sunshine. A fine day through the Low Countries, again with lots of sunshine here. More sunshine in much of Germany and Poland, although some wind and rain to the north. Dry and bright in Hungary but some showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Wind and rain affecting Denmark and southern Sweden. This rain also troubling the Baltic States. Finland, central and northern Sweden will have sunny spells and showers. Norway will be cool and bright, some showers here too.
