Monday
Showers affect eastern Spain and the Balearics, but plenty of dry weather further west and into Portugal, highs around 20C. Local showers around the Pyrenees, but much of France and Belgium will be dry and sunny as high pressure influences western Europe, 15 to 18C. Shallow low pressure brings areas of thundery rain to Alpine regions, the Balkans and down the spine of Italy. Local bursts of rain for mainland Greece . Very warm for eastern Europe, reaching 25C in eastern Poland, Hungary, western Ukraine and Belarus. Risk of thundery rain in western Poland and the Czech Republic also southern Germany. Drier toward northern Germany, reaching 20C. Fair weather for the Netherlands and Denmark. A little rain in southern Norway, but Scandinavia extensively holds onto dry and sunny weather. A high of 16C in southern Sweden.


Tuesday
High pressure extends from Iberia to southern Scandinavia, bringing plenty of fair weather. Sunny and warm for Spain and Portugal, highs 22 to 25C, warmest in the south. Also climbing to 24C in south-western France, nearer 20C in the north of France, Germany and across the Low Countries, cooler near North Sea coasts.
Thunderstorms will break out again for central and southern Italy, and extensive across the Balkan countries. Thundery bursts too for Hungary and into western Romania and Bulgaria. Dry and sunny toward Black Sea coasts and across Greece. Rain affects Belarus and south-east Poland. Fair weather around the Baltic. 17C in southern Sweden. Rain spreads into Norway from the south-west and becomes persistent later.
