Damp into central Europe in midweek

Monday
Rain for much of central and northern Spain today as well as northern Portugal. Fair in eastern Spain and the Balearics. Rain brought about by low pressure over southern Italy, some of it heavy. More rain in western Greece but the east should be dry. Fair across Turkey, dry weather here as well.
Rain for much of central and western France, some of ut heavy. Fair for the Low Countries and eastern France. Germany and western Poland will have a fair day with sunny spells, but some rain in eastern Poland. Hungary will be fair as will be Austria. Switzerland should be dry with sunshine here.
Denmark will be cool and breezy. A breezy day in the Baltic States but fair. Finland will be breezy and dry, some bright spells here. Fine in Sweden, breezy and feeling cool. Similar cool weather for Norway with sunny spells.

Tuesday
A fine day for much of Spain and Portugal. A risk of showers for the western Mediterranean and southern Italy. Heavy rain and mountain snow for the southern Balkans and western Turkey. Thundery showers in Greece.
Areas of rain affect west and central Europe, murky for much of France. Some rain into Switzerland, drier toward Austria. Patchy rain for the Low Countries and Germany, also northern Poland. Drier through Hungary and Romania.
High pressure over Scandinavia with a brisk easterly wind for Denmark and the Baltic states. Mostly dry with sunshine for Norway, Sweden and Finland.
