Heavy showers and thunderstorms affect central Europe at end of the week

Thursday
The hot weather continues through central and southern Spain as well as central and eastern Portugal. Windy yet dry across Portugal with mostly dry weather across Spain though some thundery showers developing across the northeast later. Dry and fine through the Balearics. Largely dry across Italy and the islands though some scattered showers in the north. Largely dry through Greece and Turkey.
A more mixed day across France with some heavy showers/longer spells of rain developing centrally and in the south. Breezy further west. Thundery outbreaks of rain push eastwards across the Low Countries into NW Germany. Elsewhere across Germany will be mostly dry. Showery throughout Switzerland but largely dry across Austria. Any rain in the far east of Poland will clear to see a dry and fine day here as well as across Hungary and the Balkans.
A wetter day for Denmark though mostly dry across the Baltic States. Scattered showers through Norway, northern Sweden and across many regions of Finland though also sunny spells.

Friday
Fewer showers expected today across the northeast of Spain with most staying dry with hot temperatures. Breezy yet dry and hot for many across Portugal. One or two showers at risk of hitting the Balearics though mostly dry. Heavy showers and or longer spells of rain affecting north Italy, drier further south with sunshine. A few scattered showers in Greece but mostly dry. Dry and fine across Turkey.
Much of France will be dry though the far east will see heavy showers. Switzerland and Austria will be unsettled with heavy showers and thunderstorms. These showers affecting southern Germany but largely dry further north here. Dry and fine across the Low Countries. Outbreaks of rain across the north and west of Poland and western areas of Hungary.
A dry and fine day with sunny spells across Denmark. Outbreaks of rain moving across the Baltics from west to east. A band of heavy rain affects central regions of Norway and Sweden where it will feel cool, largely dry elsewhere and comparatively warmer. A few scattered showers for Finland but most staying dry.
